Skyline Mechanic
★★★★☆ 4.0
Skyline Mechanic scratches an oddly specific itch. You run a small hangar, take in battered old planes and rebuild them part by part, from cleaning corrosion to test flights that are more presentation than gameplay.
The satisfaction is in the detail work. Each restoration is broken into stages you can do in short bursts, so it fits phone play nicely. Progression unlocks better tools and fancier projects at a fair clip.
It gets repetitive if you binge it, so I'd treat it as a background game you return to. Played that way, it's very relaxing.
