Lantern Hollow

Lantern Hollow is the kind of game you play with the sound on. It's a gentle adventure about wandering a small village at dusk, solving light environmental puzzles and slowly piecing together what happened there.

There's no fail state and no timers. You tap to move, tap to examine, and the puzzles lean on observation rather than obscure logic. I never had to look anything up, which for an adventure game is rare and welcome.

It's short, maybe three hours, and it doesn't overstay. That restraint is exactly why it stuck with me.
